DevOps Engineer AWS

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to design, implement, automate, and maintain scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will have strong experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, containers, monitoring, and cloud security.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable AWS cloud infrastructure
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK
- Manage AWS services including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, EKS, ECS, and Route 53
- Build and manage Docker containers and Kubernetes environments
- Implement automated application deployment, configuration, and release processes
- Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability using CloudWatch and other monitoring tools
- Implement AWS security best practices, IAM policies, encryption, secrets management, and access controls
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, deployment, and production issues
- Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions
- Collaborate with development, QA, security, and infrastructure teams
- Improve automation, deployment speed, system reliability, and operational efficiency
- Participate in production support and incident resolution when required
- Maintain technical documentation for infrastructure, deployment processes, and operational procedures
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with Git, GitHub, or GitLab
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Knowledge of AWS networking, IAM, security, and monitoring
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Solutions Architect certification
- Experience with Amazon EKS/ECS
- Experience with Helm and Argo CD
- Knowledge of GitOps and DevSecOps practices
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or ELK
- Experience supporting production environments
- Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
