Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Pega Tester with Healthcare domain experience to validate Pega-based applications, business workflows, case management, and healthcare processes. The ideal candidate will have strong functional testing skills, hands-on experience testing Pega applications, and a good understanding of healthcare payer or provider systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing of Pega-based healthcare applications.

• Validate Pega case management, workflows, business rules, decision tables, routing, and service-level agreements (SLAs).

• Review business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria to develop test scenarios and test cases.

• Test healthcare business processes, including claims processing, member enrollment, eligibility and benefits, prior authorization, and provider management.

• Execute test cases and document test results, defects, and test evidence.

• Identify, log, track, and retest defects using tools such as Jira or similar defect management platforms.

• Collaborate with Pega developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and QA teams to resolve functional issues.

• Perform integration testing between Pega applications and external healthcare systems.

• Validate APIs, database records, and data flows using SQL and API testing tools.

• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), release validation, and production deployment testing.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and defect triage meetings.

• Ensure application functionality aligns with healthcare business requirements, HIPAA, and applicable data privacy standards.

• Prepare test execution reports, defect summaries, and QA status updates.
