Key responsibilities

• Act as the bridge between business (wealth management / banking stakeholders) and technology teams to translate complex business needs into clear, testable technical requirements and user stories.
• Own and prioritize the product backlog, define roadmaps, and drive delivery of digital banking / wealth products, APIs, workflows, and clientfacing features in an Agile environment.
• Lead workshops with business, operations, risk, compliance and frontoffice stakeholders to perform requirements elicitation, gap analysis, and solution design.
• Work closely with engineering, data, and architecture teams to design and orchestrate API integrations, microservices, and data flows for payments, digital channels, or portfolio / account servicing journeys.
• Apply Agentic / Generative AI capabilities (e.g., AI agents, AIdriven workflows, Azure AI Foundry / Azure OpenAI, GitHub Copilot) to enhance automation, decisioning, client communications, and internal user productivity.
• Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation including use cases, sequence diagrams, API specs, data mappings, and operational playbooks.
• Support production environments through issue triage, rootcause analysis, and coordination with development / DevOps teams on fixes and releases.
• Contribute to PI planning, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and Agile ceremonies as a key voice representing both business value and technical feasibility.

Musthave skills

• 7 12 years as a Technical BA / Tech Product Owner within banking, wealth management, capital markets, or closely related financial domains.
• Proven experience working directly with external clients, senior stakeholders, and crossfunctional teams, with strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Solid understanding of banking / wealth products such as payments, digital wallets, account servicing, lending, trading, or portfolios and related workflows.
• Handson exposure to Agentic / Generative AI tools and platforms (e.g., Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, GitHub Copilot, AI agents, AIdriven workflows) and the ability to apply them in real projects.
• Strong experience in writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional / technical specifications; familiarity with Agile / SAFe practices and tools like JIRA / Confluence.
• Understanding of APIs and microservices (REST, JSON, XML), and ability to collaborate closely with engineers on solution design and integration.
• Good skills in data analysis / SQL to validate data, support reporting, and perform impact analysis for changes.

Nicetohave skills

• Experience in payments, digital wallets, tokenization, merchant onboarding, or cloud migrations similar to profiles like the attached candidate who has worked across major US banks and payment platforms.
• Knowledge of visualization or analytics tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Splunk, etc.) to support insights, dashboards, and KPI reporting.
• Exposure to Salesforce, cloud platforms (Azure), CI/CD, and production support environments.
