We are currently seeking an experienced IT Field Technician to join our team. Position Overview
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of IT support and consulting experience, particularly in environments supporting multiple small to mid-sized businesses. You should be comfortable working independently in the field, communicating clearly with both business owners and end users, and taking ownership of technical issues from start to resolution.
This position requires strong hands-on experience with:
Microsoft Server environments
Microsoft 365 and related Microsoft platforms/applications
Apple operating systems
Network and server hardware, including managed switches and firewalls
Virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V
Storage technologies such as iSCSI and SANs
Cloud platforms such as Azure, Google Workspace, and AWS
Just as important, we are looking for someone who is personable, professional, and confident working with non-technical users in a client-facing role.
Key Responsibilities
Perform network assessments for prospective new clients
Support and help coordinate client IT projects
Assist clients with ongoing IT planning and technology growth
Work collaboratively with the team and take the lead when appropriate
Respond to client requests submitted by phone and email
Provide both remote and onsite support for client infrastructure and end users
Record, track, and manage service activity in the company CRM/ticketing system
Diagnose issues and gather relevant troubleshooting data
Document solutions and maintain accurate technical documentation
Qualifications
5+ years of IT support / consulting experience preferred
Microsoft 365 certification preferred
A+, Network+, and Security+ certifications preferred
Apple certification is a plus
Valid driver’s license required
Reliable transportation required
