Location: Hybrid in Charlotte, NC
Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Security Engineer to support complex, large-scale initiatives within our Information Security Engineering organization. This role requires deep technical expertise, strategic problem-solving, and the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.

In this assignment, you will contribute to the assessment, design, and engineering of security-focused solutions-especially within Active Directory and Domain Controller environments.
What You'll Do

• Provide expert consultation on complex, large-scale Information Security Engineering initiatives.
• Analyze and solve multifaceted security engineering challenges requiring evaluation of numerous variables, including emerging or unprecedented factors.
• Support the design, implementation, and enhancement of long-term security engineering solutions aligned with organizational policies, processes, and compliance requirements.
• Partner strategically with client stakeholders to ensure alignment on engineering decisions, project goals, and technical standards.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, OR a combination of the following:
  • Professional work experience
  • Consulting experience
  • Military background
  • Relevant education or training
• Hands-on engineering experience with Active Directory Domain Controllers
  • Note: This role is not intended for general Active Directory Administrators.

Preferred / Additional Skills

• Strong expertise in Active Directory Engineering
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting
• Experience with Domain Controller virtualization
• Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Hyper-V management
• Experience building and configuring Domain Controllers
• Experience with day-to-day Domain Controller operations and management
• Familiarity with Jira for task and workflow management
• Experience working within an Agile development environment
