Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Quality Complaints Senior Associate for an Onsite position with a Global Biotechnology Company located in Thousand Oaks, CA. This is a contract opportunity. This is a 100% onsite, lab-based role focused on evaluating product complaint return samples within a fast-paced GMP environment. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual responsible for sample inspection, inventory management, and authoring technical reports. This position requires working an 8-hour shift and being available to work during company shutdowns, excluding federal holidays.
Responsibilities: - Receive, clean, and evaluate product complaint return samples, including photographs, x-rays, and written inspections
- Document receipt of incoming packages from complainants
- Confirm the received unit is solicited and perform appropriate inspection based on the complaint code
- Manage complaint return sample inventory, including filing samples in storage and supporting destruction/reconciliation
- Author technical assessment reports
- Clean and prepare shipment inventory for delivery to patients
- Interface with various company sites and business partners
- Monitor lab consumable inventory
Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences or related field
- 1+ years of related quality assurance or manufacturing experience in a GMP pharmaceutical or medical device industry
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments
- Proficient with word processing, database, and spreadsheet applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to lift boxes and storage containers of up to 50lbs
- Must be able to work during company shutdowns (excluding federal holidays)
Desired skills: - Good Documentation Practices (GDP) experience
- Experience with product complaints
- Previous lab experience
Pay range: up to $32.86 per hour
