Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior LabVIEW Developer with strong expertise in automated test systems and medical device software development. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with LabVIEW programming, NI hardware platforms, and full software development lifecycle (SDLC) within regulated environments.

This role involves designing, developing, integrating, and testing software applications and automated test equipment for medical devices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, and test software applications for medical devices.

• Develop and implement automated test equipment (ATE) using LabVIEW and NI hardware platforms.

• Perform system integration, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.

• Develop and validate software algorithms.

• Write and maintain software requirements and design documentation.

• Ensure adherence to best practices in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams in a team-oriented environment.

• Support testing using measurement devices and associated APIs.

Required Technical Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on programming experience in LabVIEW.

• Minimum certification: National Instruments Certified LabVIEW Developer (CLD).

• Experience with:

  • LabVIEW Real-Time (RT) Module

  • LabVIEW FPGA Module

  • LabVIEW Vision Development Module

• Experience working with NI Hardware Platforms (PCI, cPCI, PXI, USB).

• Strong knowledge of hardware control and system internal controls.

• Experience with system integration and troubleshooting.

• Experience developing Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and test fixtures (test jigs).

• Experience in development, operation, or testing of large-scale equipment.

• Strong experience with test and measurement devices and related APIs.

• Experience working within medical device SDLC (regulated environment preferred).

• Strong documentation skills (software requirements & design documentation).

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified LabVIEW Architect (CLA).

• Experience with Windows API, DLLs, and system interfaces.

• Experience in full lifecycle development for FDA-regulated medical devices.
