Summary
Position: Lead Java Developer
Duration: Longterm
Location: MA/NC Hybrid
Required Technical Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Java/J2EE
Excellent knowledge of Spring Boot and Microservices Architecture
Experience designing and developing scalable enterprise applications
Strong experience with AWS Cloud Services
EC2
S3
Lambda
API Gateway
ECS/EKS
CloudWatch
RDS/DynamoDB
Experience with RESTful APIs and web services
Strong knowledge of SQL databases (Oracle/PostgreSQL/MySQL)
Experience with messaging platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
Experience with Git and modern development practices
Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and implementation of Java-based enterprise applications.
Develop scalable and high-performance applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
Design and implement cloud-native solutions using AWS services.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
Review code, enforce best practices, and ensure quality standards.
Collaborate with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide production support.
Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience in enterprise-level application development.
