Oracle ERP Financials - Lead Architect

Introduction

As the Lead Architect/Finance Lead for Oracle ERP implementations in public-sector environments, you will play a critical role in defining enterprise architecture, system integrations, and ERP solution design. You will lead discussions on enterprise structure, chart of accounts, and system alignment, providing architectural oversight for General Ledger, AP/AR, and related modules. Your expertise will guide the Oracle application implementation lifecycle, ensuring design, build, System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) are executed successfully.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Lead Architect for Oracle ERP implementations in public-sector environments
• Define enterprise architecture, system integrations, and ERP solution design
• Lead discussions on enterprise structure, chart of accounts, and system alignment
• Provide architectural oversight for General Ledger, AP/AR, and related modules
• Guide Oracle application implementation lifecycle including design, build, SIT, and UAT
• Identify and resolve process and system gaps between business needs and ERP capabilities
• Partner with functional leads and stakeholders to ensure solution adoption and compliance
• Support testing strategies including SIT and UAT
• Lead Oracle ERP Finance modules implementation for public-sector clients
• Own functional areas including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Lead stakeholder discussions around account structures, enterprise structure, and financial processes
• Partner with architects and technical teams to ensure correct Oracle financial configurations
• Identify, document, and resolve business and system gaps using Oracle best practices
• Lead and support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Facilitate requirement gathering, solution walkthroughs, and validation sessions
• Ensure solutions align with public-sector financial controls and compliance requirements

Requirements

• Experience with Oracle ERP Financials
• Strong hands-on and lead-level experience with GL, AP, AR
• Proven experience working on public-sector ERP implementations
• Strong understanding of Oracle application processes and end-to-end implementations
• Experience leading stakeholder-facing discussions and workshops
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and guide junior resources
