Overview

Our client is seeking a seasoned SAP MM/SD Functional Lead with strong experience running requirements sessions, partnering with business stakeholders, and shaping solutions within SAP Public Cloud. This role requires a handson functional consultant who can lead workshops, define processes, and guide design across Sales & Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), and broader supply chain areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead functional workshops and requirements sessions with business teams across Sales, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Operations.
• Translate business needs into functional designs for SAP SD and MM within a Public Cloud environment.
• Own configuration, testing, documentation, and solution validation across SD and MM.
• Support endtoend process design for OrdertoCash, ProcuretoPay, Inventory, and Logistics flows.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure alignment with SAP best practices and Public Cloud standards.
• Drive defect resolution, UAT support, and cutover readiness.
• Provide functional leadership and guidance to business users and project stakeholders.
• Work closely with integration teams to ensure seamless data and process flow across connected systems.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of SAP functional experience across SD and MM.
• Strong handson configuration skills in Sales & Distribution and Materials Management.
• Experience leading requirements sessions and business workshops.
• Prior exposure to SAP Public Cloud (S/4HANA Cloud) strongly preferred.
• Solid understanding of supply chain processes (OTC, PTP, inventory, logistics).
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable SAP solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholdermanagement skills.
• Proven ability to operate independently in a remote consulting environment.
