Job Title: Business Analyst

Location: Remote

Duration: 6 Months

About the Role:

We're looking for a Business Analyst who thrives in ambiguity and takes full ownership of outcomes. You won't just document requirements — you'll drive clarity, shape decisions, and keep the business moving.

What You'll Do:

Working closely with business partners, this role independently elicits high-level requirements, captures business needs, understands the customer journey, and defines user requirements — driving clarity without waiting for direction. You will engage with stakeholders to influence project decisions, assess risks, and proactively prioritize competing business demands. This includes providing consultative support on business-led technology initiatives, taking ownership of architectural consistency and usability recommendations, identifying and acting on opportunities for business-led delivery, and coaching employees to make use of technology and information. You will own end-to-end facilitation of requests for new technologies and architecture reviews, while proactively monitoring industry, functional, and technology trends — bringing forward actionable recommendations without being asked.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Independently scope and drive ambiguous problems from discovery through resolution, with minimal supervision
  • Anticipate stakeholder needs and surface issues, risks, or opportunities before they become blockers
  • Build and maintain relationships across teams to stay ahead of business needs and create alignment proactively
  • Analyze and document complex end-to-end business processes, translating them into clear flow diagrams with swimlanes that stakeholders at all levels can act on
  • Iterate rapidly on artifacts based on stakeholder feedback, treating documentation as a living deliverable rather than a one-time output
  • Verify that all artifacts — process flows, user stories, requirements docs — accurately reflect current business needs, and proactively update them as processes evolve
  • Partner with business and technical stakeholders to validate that documented requirements match real-world workflows, closing gaps before they reach development
  • Leverage tools where appropriate to accelerate analysis, documentation, and process mapping — applying sound judgment to validate outputs, ensure accuracy, and maintain accountability for all deliverables

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role, ideally in a technology-driven environment
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and drive initiatives with minimal direction
  • Strong experience eliciting, documenting, and validating business and technical requirements
  • Proficiency with process mapping tools such as Lucidchart, Visio, Miro, or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills — comfortable influencing at all levels
  • Experience translating complex processes into clear, actionable documentation including flow diagrams, swimlane charts, and user stories
  • A track record of treating documentation as a living asset — keeping artifacts accurate and up to date throughout the project lifecycle
  • Comfort operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where requirements evolve

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the gaming, entertainment, or technology industry
  • Familiarity with agile delivery methodologies
  • Exposure to enterprise architecture frameworks or technology governance processes
