Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Google Cloud Platform Engineer with strong Terraform expertise to support cloud infrastructure and automation initiatives for our end client, American Express. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, deploying, and managing Google Cloud Platform infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
• Develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules for cloud infrastructure provisioning and automation.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices across Google Cloud Platform environments.
• Manage and automate Google Cloud Platform services including compute, networking, storage, IAM, and security.
• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure deployment pipelines and automation.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud, Security, and Application teams to deliver scalable cloud solutions.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and configuration issues across Google Cloud Platform environments.
• Implement cloud security, access controls, and governance best practices.
• Support cloud infrastructure modernization and migration initiatives.
• Maintain technical documentation, infrastructure standards, and deployment processes.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
• Strong expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform networking, IAM, compute, storage, and security services.
• Experience developing and managing Terraform modules.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure architecture and automation.
• Experience with Git/version control.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
