Summary

Job Title: Engineer (GStreamer)
Location: Overland Park, KS & Remote
Duration: 12 Months (Possible Extension)
Job Description:
Required Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Python, especially for real-time and socket-based applications.
  • Experience with GStreamer or similar multimedia frameworks.
  • Understanding of SIP, RTP, and G.711 codec behavior.
  • Familiarity with WebSocket protocols and streaming architectures.
  • Strong Linux systems knowledge and basic networking skills.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with OpenTelemetry or similar observability frameworks.
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Prior work with AI/ML service integration (e.g., OpenAI APIs).
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity practices for media streaming and transport.
  • Familiarity with C/C++ for potential GStreamer core-level debugging or open-source contributions.
