Summary

Job Description:

We are looking for an AWS Databricks Engineer who will work on building, optimizing, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines and analytics solutions on the AWS cloud using Databricks.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Databricks on AWS
Work with Apache Spark (PySpark / Scala) for data processing
Build and manage ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data
Integrate data from multiple sources like databases, APIs, and cloud storage
Optimize Databricks jobs for performance and cost
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams
Ensure data quality, reliability, and security
Support production issues and perform root cause analysis

Required Skills:

Strong experience with Databricks
Hands-on experience with AWS services such as:
- S3
- EC2
- Lambda
- Glue
Proficiency in PySpark (mandatory)
Experience with SQL
Good understanding of data warehousing concepts
Experience working with large datasets
Knowledge of version control tools like Git

Good to Have:

Experience with Delta Lake
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of Airflow or other orchestration tools
AWS Certification (preferred, not mandatory)
