Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
Develop and maintain software applications and reusable platform capabilities that address business requirements and improve engineering productivity.
Define and implement internal developer platform strategies, self-service infrastructure provisioning, standardized CI/CD pipelines, and reusable development workflows.
Establish automated testing frameworks, integrate security practices into development and delivery processes, and promote reusable architectural patterns and engineering standards.
Collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders to gather requirements, troubleshoot application and platform issues, improve delivery processes, and drive adoption of platform capabilities.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
6–9 years of experience in software development, platform enablement, developer productivity, DevOps, or related engineering roles, including experience improving development workflows and delivery practices.
Technical Skills:
Software Development, Internal Developer Platforms (IDP), Developer Experience (DevEx), CI/CD, Infrastructure Automation, Automated Testing, DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, Reusable Architecture, Engineering Productivity
Business / Domain Skills:
Experience supporting enterprise software engineering organizations through developer productivity initiatives, internal platforms, and standardized application delivery practices.
Experience designing, developing, enhancing, and integrating enterprise applications, APIs, interfaces, workflows, batch processes, and data-processing components supporting business operations.
Experience establishing self-service development capabilities, reusable engineering standards, and consistent delivery workflows to improve development efficiency, software quality, and operational readiness.
Experience coordinating platform adoption across application development, infrastructure, security, and operations teams while aligning engineering practices with organizational requirements.
Communication:
Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
Documentation:
Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.
Work Authorization:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.
