Technical Services Specialist Physical Access Systems

We are seeking an experienced Physical Access Systems Administrator to support physical access management systems across multiple power generation facilities. This role is responsible for system configuration, user access management, security audits, troubleshooting, and ongoing system optimization to ensure reliability, compliance, and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate has strong system administration experience, analytical problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and support physical access management applications
• Program and manage physical access points at new and existing facilities
• Administer user access, role changes, privileged access, and permissions
• Conduct regular audits and validation checks to ensure credential integrity
• Monitor system performance and perform routine maintenance
• Troubleshoot system issues and perform root cause analysis
• Support project teams during planning and implementation phases
• Coordinate system upgrades and feature enhancements
• Develop procedural documentation, user guides, and technical documentation
• Provide training and end-user support

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED (Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience preferred)
• 4+ years of experience in system administration or technical services
• Experience managing access control or physical security systems
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Excellent documentation and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor s Degree
• 5 7 years of experience as a Systems Administrator
• Experience with cloud-based management services
• Experience supporting systems in industrial, utilities, or power generation environments
