Job Description:
Role Summary
Owns end-to-end migration delivery, governance, SharePoint discovery, architecture, wave planning, cutover strategy, stakeholder coordination, RAID management, reporting, and sign-off gates.
Owns overall program delivery, governance, phasing strategy, risk management, and SharePoint migration architecture for the consolidation of SharePoint content into ProjectWise. This role combines delivery leadership with hands-on SharePoint discovery, migration design, metadata mapping, version-history strategy, and stakeholder alignment.
Key Responsibilities
· Own the end-to-end migration program plan, including discovery, design, build, migration waves, cutover, hypercare, and customer sign-off gates.
· Lead SharePoint discovery across source sites/libraries, including content inventory, permissions, metadata, content types, version history, and usage patterns.
· Define the SharePoint-to-ProjectWise migration approach, including tooling, sequencing, metadata mapping, version-history preservation, exception handling, and delta migration strategy.
· Coordinate across HCLTech delivery team, customer ProjectWise administrators, SAP/OUWM stakeholders, business SMEs, and validation teams.
· Manage RAID log, program schedule, dependency tracking, change control, status reporting, steering committee updates, and escalation management.
· Own cutover planning for live production content, including no-freeze constraints, incremental migration, rollback considerations, communications, and readiness checkpoints.
Required Skills:
· SharePoint Online architecture and migration expertise, including site collections, document libraries, permissions, content types, managed metadata, and version history.
· Hands-on knowledge of SharePoint inventory and migration tooling such as ShareGate, AvePoint, Metalogix, PnP PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, or equivalent migration utilities.
· Ability to define source-to-target mappings from SharePoint metadata and folder structures into ProjectWise properties and work-area/folder models.
· Experience with phased/wave migration planning aligned to business status, including Active, TECO, and Closed work classifications.
· Executive communication, stakeholder management, RAID governance, status reporting, dependency management, and customer-facing escalation leadership.
· Utility or engineering document management experience preferred, especially where SAP/OUWM data supports project taxonomy or migration wave planning.
Experience
10+ years in IT program or delivery management, including hands-on leadership of at least one large-scale SharePoint/content migration or platform consolidation engagement. Strong SharePoint architecture/migration background is required; PMP, Agile, or equivalent delivery certification preferred.
