Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Integration & Composition Engineer with strong expertise in payment integrations, payload transformation, and API orchestration. The role involves designing and implementing scalable integration solutions using JQ, Go templates, REST APIs, and scripting technologies to support high-throughput payment systems and third-party platform integrations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in payment workflows, cloud-native deployments, and DevOps practices.
Roles & Responsibilities
Design and implement integration workflows across APIs, services, and payment platforms
Build dynamic payload transformations using JQ and Go templates
Develop reusable, parameterized templates and configuration-driven integrations
Integrate upstream channels with downstream payment providers and third-party systems
Support REST API integrations, orchestration, and data mapping
Handle payment decline mapping, error handling, and reconciliation scenarios
Troubleshoot payload mismatches, transformation failures, and production integration issues
Collaborate with API, DevOps, QA, and architecture teams for seamless deployments
Maintain reusable integration assets, templates, and documentation
Support cloud-native deployments and CI/CD-based integration delivery
Required Skills & Experience
7+ years of experience with JQ and Go templating
7+ years of experience in OOPS concepts and Python/Go development
5+ years of experience in scripting, AWS, REST APIs, and payment integrations
Strong expertise in JSON payload transformation, mapping, and composition
Experience with REST APIs, middleware, API gateways, and event-driven integrations
Knowledge of payment workflows, declines, reconciliation, and transaction processing
Experience supporting high-throughput, low-latency systems
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and CI/CD pipelines
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Experience with cloud-native and scalable integration architectures
