Description
Join our team as a Lead AI Engineer in Toronto, Canada. 
This contract position involves designing and scaling AI systems with a focus on agent orchestration and distributed systems. 
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement robust AI solutions using advanced technologies.
Design, build, and scale enterprise-grade AI systems for production environments.
Collaborate with product teams, data scientists, and platform engineers.
Architect intelligent agent workflows and cloud-ready AI platforms.
Implement agent workflows with state handling and fault recovery.
Develop robust AI systems with clear success/failure handling.
Ensure observability through logging, tracing, and execution monitoring.
Mentor engineers and raise technical standards across the team.

Key Responsibilities
Lead design and implementation of scalable AI systems for enterprise use cases.
Guide engineering teams on design patterns and implementation standards.
Translate business requirements into modular technical solutions.
Drive technical reviews and solution trade-off decisions.
Partner with teams to productionize AI systems across cloud environments.

Qualifications
8 years of industry experience in AI/ML and intelligent systems development.
Proven experience delivering AI solutions in large-scale environments.
Strong understanding of AI architectures and multi-agent systems.
Proficiency in Python and machine learning frameworks.
Experience with prompt engineering techniques and LLM-based applications.
