Duration: 18 Months Contract with potential extension
Job Description:
The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Operations team is a critical part of the Enterprise Technology organization, responsible for ensuring secure and seamless access to systems and applications across the enterprise. Our team specializes in resolving complex access issues, supporting IAM platforms, and maintaining the integrity of identity services. We work closely with engineering, infrastructure, security, and business teams to deliver a frictionless user experience. With a focus on operational excellence, we proactively monitor IAM systems, implement continuous improvement of identity lifecycle management. The IAM org s overall mission is to enable secure, appropriate access for any identity from any device, any location, to any service, for the right business outcome. The IAM team provides positive user experiences through platform modernization, and security and operational excellence for workforce identities across the Company.
- Provide Level 2 support for Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems and applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IAM-related issues and incidents.
- Collaborate with Level 1 support and other IT teams to ensure seamless IAM operations.
- Maintain and update IAM documentation, including policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Provide training and support to end-users on IAM processes and tools.
- Participate in IAM-related projects and initiatives.
- Stay updated with the latest IAM technologies and best practices
- As necessary after normal operation hours support
Must Haves (Years of Experience, languages, programs, tools, etc.):
- 3+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management or IT support roles.
- Proficiency with IAM platforms such as Microsoft Active Directory, Okta, or SailPoint.
- Strong understanding of authentication protocols (e.g., SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) and incident management workflows.
- Familiarity with PowerShell or other scripting languages for automation and troubleshooting.
- Ability to analyze logs and trace access issues across systems.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
- Various times after normal operating hours support
Nice To Haves (see above):
- Experience with multi-factor authentication (MFA) and single sign-on (SSO) technologies.
- Understanding of LDAP, Kerberos, and certificate-based authentication.
- Scripting experience in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and reporting.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, Security+, Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate, or Okta Certified Professional.
Education:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience
