Job Title: Network Analyst

Job Duration: 6-month contract possibility to extend

Project Overview:

• You will serve as the primary line of support for Layer 2 networking issues, taking ownership of incoming tickets and incidents so the core engineering team can focus on long-term infrastructure upgrades and end-of-life hardware replacements.

Core Responsibilities:

• Handle incoming Layer 2 network incidents and support tickets efficiently.
• Perform routine monitoring, patching, and maintenance on enterprise network switches.
• Support data center operations, ensuring high availability and rapid issue resolution.
• Collaborate with the broader IT and engineering teams to ensure overall network stability.
• Assist with basic maintenance around enterprise firewalls and load balancers (F5) as needed.

Technical Requirements:

• Must-Have: 2 to 3 years of dedicated experience as a Network Analyst or Network Administrator.
• Must-Have: Proven, hands-on experience supporting an enterprise Data Center environment.
• Must-Have: Strong understanding of Layer 2 networking protocols and troubleshooting.
• Bonus: A career progression starting in Help Desk/IT support before transitioning to networking (demonstrates strong foundational troubleshooting).
• Bonus: Familiarity with F5 load balancers and network firewalls.

The projected hourly range for this position is $40-46/hr.
