Kubernetes/Network Function Deployment Engineer

Overview:

Seeking a skilled Kubernetes/Network Function Deployment Engineer to support the buildout and rebuild of 5G core network elements, with a primary focus on SMPCF, and secondary priorities in AMPCF and SCP. The ideal candidate will have strong Kubernetes expertise and experience deploying telco-grade network functions (CNFs).

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy and rebuild SMPCF sets on updated software using Kubernetes
• Support deployment of AMPCF and SCP functions.
• Assist in tearing down legacy sets and migrating to new architecture
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (integration, field support)
• Ensure timely delivery of build milestones
• Maintain documentation, track progress

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments
• Deep understanding of 5G core & 3GPP call flow functions (SMPCF, AMPCF, SCP)
• Familiarity with CNF deployment, orchestration, and scaling
• Ability to troubleshoot across network, platform, and orchestration layers
• Experience working in agile, fast-paced, milestone-driven environments
