Job Description: Principal Solutions Architect / Lead Consultant (Amdocs & Openet)

We are seeking a seasoned Amdocs & Openet Expert with over 10 years of experience to lead the modernization and maintenance of our core telecommunications systems. This role is critical for bridging the gap between legacy Amdocs environments and modern Policy and Charging Rules Function (PCRF) ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

• System Architecture: Oversee the end-to-end architecture of legacy Amdocs systems (Ensemble/CES) and their integration with Openet’s Policy and Charging platforms.

• Modernization Roadmap: Design and execute strategies to modernize legacy monolithic architectures into microservices-based frameworks without disrupting core business operations.

• Technical Leadership: Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for high-level troubleshooting, system performance tuning, and complex bug resolution across the BSS/OSS stack.

• Integration Management: Ensure seamless data flow and real-time synchronization between Amdocs billing/ordering modules and Openet’s real-time charging engines.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Translate complex technical requirements into actionable business outcomes for C-suite executives and cross-functional teams.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Preferred Attributes

• Proven track record in large-scale telecom transformations (e.g., 4G to 5G migrations).

• Experience with cloud-native transitions (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) for legacy workloads.

• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to solve "needle-in-a-haystack" issues in legacy codebases.
