The Corporate Maintenance Lead serves as a trusted technical expert, providing enterprise-wide maintenance support across corporate facilities and manufacturing operations. This role partners with site teams to improve equipment reliability, optimize facility performance, and promote best-in-class maintenance practices that support safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations.

Leveraging expertise across multiple technical disciplines, this role diagnoses complex equipment and facility challenges, provides hands-on support for manufacturing support systems, and champions a proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement.

As a mentor and technical resource, this role develops the capabilities of both hourly and salaried team members by delivering hands-on training, sharing best practices, and identifying opportunities to strengthen technical knowledge across the organization.

What a Day in Your Life Looks Like:
  • Technical Maintenance: Perform hands-on maintenance and repair of corporate facilities, manufacturing equipment, and support systems to maximize reliability and reduce reliance on external service providers.


  • Technical Support: Provide expert troubleshooting and remote technical guidance to facility teams, helping resolve equipment and maintenance challenges quickly and effectively.


  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to improve production processes, maintenance practices, and equipment longevity through innovative and sustainable solutions.


  • Predictive Maintenance: Apply predictive and preventative maintenance strategies to minimize unplanned downtime and improve operational performance.


  • Maintenance Excellence: Develop, standardize, and continuously improve maintenance procedures, preventive maintenance schedules, work methods, and spare parts strategies across multiple facilities.


  • Maintenance Systems: Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to manage work orders, track maintenance activities, and maintain accurate documentation across the organization.


  • Training & Development: Design and deliver engaging training programs, materials, and hands-on instruction that build the technical capabilities of hourly and salaried team members while promoting the proper operation and maintenance of equipment.


  • Safety Leadership: Champion a culture of safety by integrating safe work practices into every maintenance activity, communication, and operational process.


  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, company policies, and applicable safety standards while supporting continuous operational excellence.


  • Equipment Implementation: Support the successful installation, commissioning, validation, and start-up of new equipment, ensuring operational readiness through effective training and technical support.


  • Vendor Partnership: Coordinate external contractors and collaborate with suppliers to secure quality parts, technical expertise, and maintenance solutions that support reliable operations.


  • Operational Partnership: Build strong relationships with manufacturing leaders by communicating maintenance activities, providing technical recommendations, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.


  • Travel & Flexibility: Support manufacturing facilities across North America through regular travel (approximately 30%) and maintain the flexibility to assist during shutdowns, weekends, and other critical operational needs.


  • Strategic Support: Contribute to maintenance excellence and continuous improvement initiatives while providing additional technical support as business needs evolve.


Required Credentials
  • Must have a valid drivers' license with acceptable driving record.
  • Technical or Trade School Experience
  • Training and experience in Mechanical and/or Electrical disciplines.
  • Application use of specific areas of expertise including carpentry, plumbing, painting, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC systems.
  • Maintenance knowledge with specific equipment and processes including crane and hoist equipment, air compressors, pneumatic tools, press brakes, paint booths, saws, and CNC equipment.
  • Safety specific experience includes OSHA and environmental regulations, electrical safety, machine safeguarding, and PPE.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and equipment troubleshooting skills
  • Computer skills to communicate effectively across the organization.
  • Organizational skills and a service mindset.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and consistently in all situations.
  • Experience with computerized maintenance software.


You Must Be Able to

Travel up to 30% and to any of our locations, including Canada

Working in a manufacturing environment while standing or sitting for a minimum of eight hours per day is required. Occasionally, this job operates in an office environment with computer work required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate with others using either meetings, telephone, or computer. The employee frequently is required to stand (sometimes for extended periods); walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must be able to lift small loads and operate both hand and power tools and equipment regularly and without difficulty.
