Lead Data Engineer (Local to California)
Work Location: San Francisco, CA (415 Mission St, San Francisco, CA 94105)
Tech Stack & Skills She’s Looking For:
Core (Must-Have):
- Backend / Data Engineering (Primary focus)
- End-to-end data pipeline experience
- Strong SQL / Data Warehousing concepts
Data Platform / Engineering Stack:
- Databricks (current/future platform)
- EDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse)
- DataStage (ETL)
- SQL-based data warehouse
BI / Analytics (Secondary – nice to have, not core):
- Tableau
- SSAS Cubes
- Other reporting/BI tools
Skill Expectations:
- Lead-level / Architect mindset
- Ability to design and own end-to-end solutions
- Full-stack data capability (engineering + some reporting understanding)
- Strong backend > BI (priority clearly on engineering)
