Summary

Job Description

Build high-fidelity simulations that power next-generation sensor fusion systems. As a Software Engineer on the Fusion Simulation team, you will develop and integrate advanced simulation environments used to validate and test mission-critical fusion capabilities. Your work ensures that complex third-party models and internally developed algorithms perform accurately, efficiently, and reliably before deployment to operational systems.

This role sits at the intersection of software engineering, modeling & simulation, and sensor fusion testing infrastructure. You will work in C++ to build scalable simulation components, integrate external models, and improve the fidelity of testing environments that directly support the development of advanced aerospace fusion systems.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Develop and maintain high-fidelity simulation software in C++ to support sensor fusion and mission system validation.
  • Integrate third-party models and internal simulation components into a unified testing environment for Fusion applications.
  • Analyze system and software requirements to ensure accurate representation of real-world behaviors in simulation environments.
  • Troubleshoot software issues, identify defects, and support resolution through structured debugging and analysis techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams including software, systems, and test engineers to ensure simulation accuracy and usability.
  • Support Agile development processes and modern engineering workflows including Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ensure software quality through testing, validation, and continuous improvement of simulation fidelity and performance.
