Job Description: Azure L2/L3 Support Engineer (PaaS)
Azure Compute & Platform Services

• Manage and support Azure Virtual Machines (VMs) across multiple environments.
• Deploy, scale, and troubleshoot Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters.
• Support containerized workloads using Docker and AKS.
• Work with VM performance refinement, autoscaling, and security configurations.

Networking

• Manage and troubleshoot Virtual Networks (VNets), subnets, NSGs, and routing.
• Support hybrid connectivity using ExpressRoute, VPN gateways, and peering setups.
• Optimize network flow, security, and performance for cloud-native and hybrid applications.

Storage & Databases

• Support storage accounts including Blob Storage, lifecycle management, and access policies.
• Manage and troubleshoot Azure SQL Database performance, connectivity, and security.
• Implement best practices for backup, recovery, and replication.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Build and maintain IaC templates using Terraform and Bicep.
• Execute deployments, updates, and configuration changes using IaC automation.
• Ensure environments are consistent, version-controlled, and compliant.

DevOps & CI/CD

• Manage CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments using Azure DevOps.
• Support release automation, pipeline optimization, and deployment troubleshooting.
• Contribute to DevOps improvements monitoring, configuration, automation, and stability.

Azure Kubernetes Services & Containerization

• Deploy, operate, and troubleshoot AKS clusters and containerized workloads.
• Manage scaling, upgrades, node pools, networking, and security for Kubernetes.
• Work with images, registries, Helm charts, YAML manifests, and container runtime.

L3 Technical Support & Escalation Handling

• Provide L3 support for complex Azure incidents, service outages, and platform escalations.
• Perform deep-dive troubleshooting on compute, networking, storage, and Kubernetes workloads.
• Execute root cause analysis (RCA) and contribute to long-term remediation plans.
• Handle performance tuning, configuration optimization, and production support.

Communication & Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as the primary technical contact for client teams for escalations and support.
• Provide timely updates, documentation, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Work closely with crossfunctional teams including engineering, DevOps, and product teams.
