Position: IT Infrastructure AI and Automation Architect
Location: Hybrid - Onsite / Frisco, TX
What we are looking for:
Seeking an IT Infrastructure AI and Automation Architect who will evolve IT infrastructure through advanced automation and artificial intelligence. This role
will drive the design, implementation oversight, and optimization of enterprise platforms-including cloud, server, compute, database, storage, backup, and network-by leveraging AI-driven solutions and automation frameworks. The Architect will contribute to the strategic vision for infrastructure AI architecture and assist in developing world-class solutions, with a strong emphasis on cloud technologies.
What you will do:
As their Infrastructure AI and Automation Architect, you will
Develop and execute strategic plans and roadmaps to advance IT infrastructure, integrating AI and automation to support current and future business needs.
Establish and govern enterprise-level standards, best practices, and processes for network architecture, engineering, and deployment.
Champion modernization initiatives including cloud networking, infrastructure automation, and AI, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of infrastructure technologies, automation tools, and AI platforms, ensuring alignment with architectural principles
and business objectives.
Partner with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and ensure seamless
integration and delivery.
Analyze technology trends in AI and automation, assess emerging solutions, and drive adoption of new capabilities where appropriate
Ensure adherence to security standards and compliance requirements throughout all aspects of architecture and operations.
Work closely with our partners to ensure understanding of architectures and participate in initiatives to ensure delivery that aligns with the AI and Automation
envisioned.
Who you are:
Extensive experience in reviewing, designing, and implementing Infrastructure AI and automation across enterprise IT infrastructure-including cloud, server,
compute, database, storage, backup, and network platforms.
Proven ability to define and implement AI and Automation strategies and architectural standards at scale including documentation and governance of
automated environments.
Demonstrated success leading large, cross-functional architecture and engineering initiatives and working with diverse stakeholders, including external partners and
vendors.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for a variety of audiences and drive consensus.
Capability to analyze and translate business requirements into scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions.
Passion for mentoring, developing talent, and building high-performing teams.
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and work
experience.
10+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure architecture and engineering
Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and operating automated IT infrastructure, including: cloud architecture, server and compute, database,
storage, backup, and networking
