Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Virtual Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud platforms, virtualization technologies, and automation tools to support our organization's cloud-based solutions and ensure scalable, secure, and reliable cloud operations.
Responsibilities:
Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Build and maintain virtualized environments and automation tools to streamline cloud operations.
Monitor cloud performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize resource utilization.
Implement security best practices and compliance standards within cloud environments.
Collaborate with development teams to support DevOps initiatives and CI/CD pipelines.
Maintain documentation of cloud infrastructure, configurations, and procedures.
Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and recommend improvements.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer, Virtualization Engineer, or similar role.
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM).
Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
Understanding of network security, firewalls, and VPN configurations.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
