Job Title: Equipment Maintenance Technician

Job Location: Temecula, CA

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $30.71hr - $35.71hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Minimum 4 years of related experience.
  • Applies extensive knowledge of advanced technical concepts and practices.
  • Complete understanding of product or systems fundamentals in a functional area.
  • Working knowledge of other related disciplines.
  • Ability to utilize and interpret advanced numerical and statistical data.
  • Proficiency with computer software programs to present documentation, analysis, and resolve complex problems.
  • Experience performing tasks in a quality system environment.
  • Ability to perform complex technical assignments without established procedures.
  • Ability to assist in the design, development, evaluation, or modification of area-specific equipment, materials, and systems.
  • Ability to determine types of tests or develop preventative maintenance plans.
  • Demonstrated judgment, initiative, creativity, and leadership in troubleshooting and suggesting alternatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Responds to assembly line equipment repair calls by diagnosing equipment problems and performing the necessary repair.
  • Documents equipment qualifications and upgrades made to existing machines.
  • Records preventative maintenance performed and parts used in the MP2 maintenance database to ensure appropriate documentation of repair history.
  • Maintains back-up equipment and ensures spare parts are maintained at the required levels to meet manufacturing equipment needs.
  • Assists industrial, manufacturing, and quality engineers in the operation of equipment.
  • Provides equipment development engineers with feedback on equipment issues and offers suggestions for improving equipment uptime.
  • Assists in the construction of worktables, providing necessary utilities, and setting up equipment on manufacturing assembly lines.
  • Modifies existing assembly lines or workstations as required to accommodate manufacturing demands.
  • Mentors less senior employees in the work group and offers counsel.
  • Plans and organizes non-routine tasks with approval.
  • Initiates and maintains work schedules.
  • Establishes priorities of work assignments.
  • Solves a wide range of complex problems requiring advanced interpretation of defined procedures and practices.
  • Selects methods and practices to obtain imaginative, thorough, and practical solutions to questions.
  • Maintains general knowledge of products and services associated with the area and specific product lines.
