Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle Fusion cloud Financial Functional Consultant for a long-term contract engagement. This role is 100% remote within the United States. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience (10–14 years) in the Oracle ecosystem, with a significant portion of that time focused on Oracle Fusion/Cloud Financials. You will lead business process transformations, manage full-lifecycle implementations, and provide high-level functional expertise to ensure our financial systems align with global business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Oracle Fusion Financials implementations, including requirements gathering, gap analysis, system configuration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Design and implement functional solutions for core modules: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), and Expenses.
• Act as the primary functional expert for Oracle Cloud accounting transformations and business process re-engineering.
• Collaboratively work with technical teams to define requirements for integrations, data migrations, and custom reporting (BIP, OTBI).
• Provide strategic guidance on Oracle Cloud best practices, quarterly update management, and feature adoption.
• Draft comprehensive functional design documents (FDDs) and configuration workbooks.

Required Qualifications

• 12–14 years of experience as an Oracle Functional Consultant, with at least 5+ years specifically in Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.
• Proven track record of at least 3 full-lifecycle Oracle Cloud Financials implementations.
• Deep expertise in GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management, and Tax modules.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles (US GAAP/IFRS) and financial business processes.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical developers.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud reporting tools, including OTBI and Financial Reporting Studio (FRS).
