Informatica IDMC/CDI Data Migration Developer

We are seeking a hands-on Informatica IDMC/CDI Data Migration Developer to support the end-to-end conversion of legacy ERP data to Oracle Cloud.

The role requires strong Informatica CDI development, Oracle SQL/PL/SQL, data transformation, validation, reconciliation, and migration-cycle support experience.

Responsibilities

1.                      Work with client, functional, technical, and project stakeholders to support end-to-end data migration from legacy/on-premises ERP applications, including Oracle 11i and Oskar, to Oracle Cloud using Informatica IDMC / IICS Cloud Data Integration (CDI).

2.                     Design, develop, test, and maintain IICS/CDI mappings, mapping tasks, and taskflows to extract, transform, and prepare legacy data for migration to Oracle Cloud.

3.                     Design and implement transformations and mappings to generate Oracle FBDI/load-ready files based on approved source-to-target mappings and business transformation rules.

4.                     Develop and optimize complex SQL/PL/SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, reconciliation, validation, and troubleshooting.

5.                      Support migration test cycles and cutover activities, including execution, data validation, reconciliation, defect analysis, and resolution of data conversion issues.

6.                     Troubleshoot, optimize, and refactor IDMC/CDI solutions to improve performance, maintainability, reusability, and reliability.

7.                      Apply data integration and migration best practices, including error handling, logging, restart/recovery, performance optimization, and maintainable design.

8.                      Create and maintain technical documentation, including technical designs, data flows, transformation logic, mapping specifications, and implementation details.

9.                      Collaborate with functional and business teams to analyze data and conversion issues and support successful migration and validation.

Skill Set

Required Qualifications

·                   Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services / Informatica IDMC Cloud Data Integration (IICS/CDI), including development of mappings, mapping tasks, and taskflows.

·                   Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills, scripting experience, and understanding of relational database concepts.

·                   Experience extracting and transforming data from Oracle databases and legacy ERP applications.

·                   Demonstrated experience with large-scale data conversion/migration from legacy or on-premises applications to cloud-based applications.

·                   Experience with data validation, reconciliation, error handling, troubleshooting, and performance tuning in ETL/data migration environments.

·                   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze source data, transformation rules, data-quality issues, and reconciliation differences.

·                   Experience working within Agile development methodologies.

·                   Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with technical, functional, business, and client stakeholders and proactively communicate progress, dependencies, issues, and risks.

·                   Experience designing reusable, metadata-driven, or parameterized Informatica CDI mappings/frameworks for large-scale data migration is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

·                    Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (Oracle 11i/R12) to Oracle Cloud ERP data migration.

·                    Experience generating and validating Oracle Cloud FBDI/load-ready files.

·                   1-2 years of hands-on experience with IICS Cloud Application Integration (CAI).

·                   Experience with Python for data processing, automation, reconciliation, or validation.

·                   Experience with Snowflake.

·                   Experience supporting mock conversions, UAT, production cutover, and post-conversion reconciliation.
