Summary

Position Title: Systems Engineering Tech

Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract opportunity located in Redmond, WA

Job Responsibilities:

Perform assembly, integration (including fiber splicing), and testing of optical communication systems
Work closely with engineering teams to support product development and testing
Create and maintain technical documentation and procedures
Build and test first article units
Support laboratory operations and maintain test equipment
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including optical, mechanical, and electrical engineers
Execute test procedures and record results with high attention to detail
Assist in troubleshooting and problem resolution

Job Qualifications:

Associate's degree in Electronics, Photonics, or related technical field
2+ years of experience in optical systems or related technical field
Experience with laboratory equipment and testing procedures
Proficiency in technical documentation and procedure writing
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams

Pay Rate Range: $40 – 60/hr
