Nautobot / Network Automation Specialist

Work mode: Fully Remote

Duration:12 Months

We are seeking an experienced Nautobot / Network Automation Specialist to join on a 12-month contract. This is a fully remote opportunity, but you must be available to work during US Eastern Time hours. You’ll be at the forefront of network automation projects, working with cutting-edge tools and frameworks to design, build, and enhance scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive Source of Truth automation strategy leveraging Nautobot.

Automate network infrastructure using Ansible and Python.
Develop custom APIs with Flask or Django to integrate automation platforms.
Build, test, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for network automation.
Use frameworks such as pytest, Nornir, Netmiko, NAPALM, Batfish, Salt, and Robot Framework.
Collaborate in agile teams using Git workflows.

Required Skills & Experience:

6+ years in network automation projects.

Strong hands-on experience with Nautobot.

Python & Ansible proficiency.

4+ years developing APIs using Flask/Django.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
Familiarity with Git workflows in collaborative environments.
Flask/Django APIs: 2 years (Required)
pytest, Nornir, Netmiko, NAPALM, Salt, Robot Framework: 4 years (Required)
Git workflows: 1 year (Required)

CCNP or equivalent expertise preferred.
