Summary

Position: Lead Confluent Kafka Admin with Unix

Remote

Longterm Contract

Required Skills:

12+ years of IT experience with 4+ years in Kafka/Confluent administration.
Strong experience with Confluent Platform components.
Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux administration.
Strong shell scripting skills.
Experience with Kafka performance tuning and optimization.
Knowledge of Kafka security implementation.
Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or similar.
Familiarity with DevOps tools (Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, etc.).
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift-based Kafka deployments.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
Confluent Kafka certification (preferred).
