Summary

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Migration Architect to lead AWS platform configuration and CI/CD automation for a large-scale enterprise cloud migration initiative supporting 30+ applications across multiple migration patterns including Elastic Beanstalk, Amazon EKS, and EC2-based deployments.

This is a highly technical, hands-on role focused on cloud-native architecture, infrastructure automation, Kubernetes operations, GitOps deployments, and enterprise DevOps enablement.

Key Responsibilities:

Configure and manage AWS environments including Elastic Beanstalk, EKS, EC2, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager, and related services
Design and implement Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform (preferred) or CloudFormation
Build Azure DevOps YAML pipelines for CI/CD across multiple deployment models
Implement GitOps workflows using ArgoCD or Flux for Kubernetes deployments
Manage Docker containerization, ECR repositories, Helm charts, ingress controllers, autoscaling, and cluster operations
Support cloud migration strategies for enterprise applications across Dev/Test/Prod
Configure observability, monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational dashboards
Collaborate with development, infrastructure, DBA, and operations teams to deliver production-ready cloud solutions
Create architecture documentation, runbooks, ADRs, and operational procedures

Required Skills:

5+ years of hands-on AWS infrastructure and cloud migration experience
Strong expertise with AWS services: EKS, Elastic Beanstalk, EC2, RDS, IAM, VPC, S3, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager
3+ years of production Kubernetes/EKS experience
Strong experience with ArgoCD or Flux (mandatory)
Strong Azure DevOps Pipelines (YAML) experience
Hands-on Docker and container orchestration expertise
Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
Linux administration and shell scripting experience
Strong Git/version control practices
Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

AWS Solutions Architect Professional or DevOps Professional Certification
CKA/CKAD Certification
Experience migrating .NET or Java applications to AWS
Experience with DataDog, Splunk, or New Relic
Knowledge of blue/green and canary deployments
