Summary

ServiceNow DPR Tech Lead

Fort mill, SC (Onsite 3 days)

 

The ServiceNow DPR Tech Lead is a senior techno‑functional role responsible for assessing current‑state release processes and DPR configurations, comparing them to ServiceNow and industry best practices, and leading the design and delivery of scalable ServiceNow DPR, Change, and Release Management solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess existing Release Management processes and DPR configuration and identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Compare current implementation against ServiceNow OOTB capabilities and best practices and define a targeted remediation roadmap.
  • Lead solution design by mapping business requirements to ServiceNow platform capabilities, including DPR, Change, and DevOps integrations.
  • Conduct requirements, scoping, and design workshops; ensure clear documentation and alignment.
  • Provide hands‑on technical leadership, including development of complex configurations (Business Rules, Script Includes, integrations, workspaces, portals).
  • Configure and optimize DPR modules, including release templates, tasks, approvals, and governance.
  • Serve in a delivery assurance role, overseeing design, development, testing, and quality of all deliverables.
  • Create and deliver executive‑ready assessments, recommendations, and demonstrations.

 

Must‑Have Skills & Experience

  • Hands‑on ServiceNow development experience delivering complex enterprise solutions.
  • Deep expertise in Change and Release Management.
  • Strong experience with Digital Product Release (DPR), including DevOps integration and DPR configuration.
  • Proven ability to perform best‑practice assessments and current‑state evaluations.
  • Ability to translate business needs into pragmatic, scalable ServiceNow solutions.
