DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
• Responsible for elicitation, analysis, and documentation of business requirements.
• Research and exploration of user requirements, costs, and benefits in support of documentation required for the demand management process.
• Responsible for analyzing the business needs to identify new processes and process improvements that will meet those needs.
• Documents current business processes and models to define requirements and/or gaps.
• Analyze detailed system factors including input/output requirements, information and paper flow, hardware, and software needs.
• Analyze “soft" system factors including roles, responsibilities, policy, culture, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, or another related field or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience leading data migration requirements from legacy systems into a new ERP (Sage X3) environment
• Strong hands-on expertise in requirements elicitation, documentation, and management, with emphasis on data mapping, transformation rules, and validation
• Deep understanding of data structures, data quality, and migration best practices, with the ability to identify gaps and risks early
• Self-driven and accountable professional with strong stakeholder management and communication skills, able to drive outcomes with minimal oversight
• Working knowledge of Confluence and JIRA.
• Experience in any of the following business areas is desired: Sales operations, order entry, accounting, finance, procurement, warehouse operations, order management, and order fulfillment.
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ business analysis or systems analysis experience is preferred.
• Bonus: Sage X3 experience (ERP).

Job Title: Biomedical Equipment Technician
Location: Boston, MA

Note: AM - 8hr
40hr Days, 7A to 3:30P, M-F, with rotating call (does not have to come to campus but answers the phone when on-call).
Job Description:
Under general supervision, provides and performs electrical safety testing, calibration, troubleshooting, performance assurance testing and emergency repairs for all biomedical, laboratory and associated medical instrumentation used throughout the Client Central Processing department.
- Orders supplies and parts for equipment and stock inventory.
- Maintains an accurate computer database of equipment which includes: departmental wide inventory, repair data and retired equipment.
- Assists in the establishment of performance assurance guidelines as part of a comprehensive electrical safety program.
- Participates in an on-call rotation (nights, weekends and holidays).
Requirements:
- AAMI certification
- At least 4 years’ experience in biomedical instrumentation repair.
- BLS
Knowledge and skills:
- Knowledge of standards, regulations, and safety requirements (such as Joint Commission, FDA, ECRI, ASA, OSHA and DPH) is necessary.
- Strong knowledge of biomedical, anesthesia and patient-care related instrumentation, and detailed understanding of hemodynamic monitoring.
- Familiarity with electrical/electronic and medical terminology.
- Ability to repair, maintain, test and calibrate a wide range of detailed biomedical, anesthesia and patient-care related instrumentation is necessary.
- Excellent English communication skills (oral and written).
- Ability to maintain detailed records and prepare data into statistical reports.
- Proficiency with standard software programs used in healthcare (such as MS Word, Outlook) and web browsers, patient registration systems and electronic medical record.
Essential responsibilities/duties:
- Troubleshoots critical care related instrumentation in critical care or surgical areas while in use. Diagnoses the source of operational failure, if any, of patient related equipment. Determine if the operation of the device is correct and to provide recommendations for improved use.
- Conducts complete electrical safety testing and inspections on all equipment under the jurisdiction of the department of Clinical Engineering and the department of Health and Hospitals.
- Provides required periodic calibration of equipment to ensure proper operating function.
- Conducts complete performance assurance testing. Performs complete performance maintenance procedures as required following protocols.
- Performs emergency and routine repairs on instrumentation under the jurisdiction of the department of Clinical Engineering and Boston Medical Center.
- Compiles and updates equipment inventory, repairs data and retired equipment.
- Assists in the formation of performance assurance forms.
- Participates in an on-call rotation which covers nights, weekends and holidays.
- Participates in the evaluation of biomedical instrumentation under the supervision of the manager or his/her designee.
- Attends various hospital committees as directed by Senior Director.
- Follows established hospital infection control and safety procedures.
