Location: San Antonio and Plano, TX

Work Model: Hybrid — 4 days in office, 1 remote

Duration: 12 Months

Key Responsibilities

• Act as Product Owner for fraud/financial crimes initiatives; manage backlog, prioritize features, and oversee deliverables in an Agile environment.
• Translate business problems into clear requirements and communicate effectively between business stakeholders and IT teams.
• Train and coach a team of Business Analysts; analyze business processes/systems, identify inefficiencies and required controls, and document procedures.
• Define high-level application architecture: relationships, flows, and implementation of business processes; create business and system use cases or functional specifications.
• Collaborate with internal and external customers to elicit business concerns and develop workable solutions; participate in planning initiatives and feasibility studies.
• Create Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) outlining costs, objectives, milestones, and timelines.
• Create, extract, and modify ad-hoc and standardized reports using financial and operational data.
• Possess a thorough understanding of data sources and relationships to generate meaningful management information; work with data pipelines, data movement, querying, and models.
• Analyze areas for cost control and process improvement; develop business process flows.
• Work independently and with junior and senior stakeholders; support large-scale application requirements within the domain.
• Manage defects tracking and release management activities.
• Use project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence to track work and collaborate with teams.

Required / Desired Qualifications

• 4-7 years of relevant experience.
• Proven Agile experience with focus on managing teams, oversight, and delivering outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to understand business problems and clearly convey requirements to technical teams.
• Experience in the Financial Sector, specifically Fraud or Financial Crimes, is strongly preferred.
• Experience working with data (building data pipelines, data movement, querying data, and working with models) is a major plus.
• Experience with Actimize / NICE Actimize is beneficial.
• Strong working knowledge of JIRA/Confluence and project management practices.
