Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to work directly with customer teams and rapidly build, deploy, and scale AI-powered software solutions.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on software engineer with strong experience in AI/LLM applications, data engineering, and full-stack development. This role requires someone who can work in fast-paced customer environments, understand business problems, and quickly turn requirements into production-ready applications.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with customer teams to understand business workflows and technical requirements.
  • Design and build AI-powered applications and solutions using customer data.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines integrating databases, enterprise systems, APIs, and documents.
  • Build LLM applications using RAG, AI agents, tool/function calling, prompt engineering, and evaluation frameworks.
  • Create data models and knowledge structures to support AI applications.
  • Develop full-stack applications using technologies such as TypeScript, React, Python, or similar technologies.
  • Build solutions that can interact with and write back to enterprise systems.
  • Conduct rapid iterations with business users and improve applications based on feedback.
  • Deploy and support applications in cloud, multi-cloud, on-premises, or restricted environments.
  • Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to productionize and scale solutions.
  • Communicate technical solutions and decisions effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills

  • Strong software engineering experience with the ability to design, develop, debug, and deploy production applications.
  • Hands-on experience building LLM and Generative AI applications.
  • Experience with RAG, AI agents, tool/function calling, prompt engineering, context management, and model evaluation.
  • Strong data engineering skills, including SQL, data pipelines, and data modeling.
  • Experience with Python and modern software development practices.
  • Full-stack development experience with TypeScript, React, or similar technologies.
  • Ability to work independently in ambiguous and fast-paced customer environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to rapidly build and deliver working software solutions.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with PySpark or similar big data technologies.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience deploying applications in on-premises, restricted, or air-gapped environments.
  • Experience with AI coding assistants or AI-driven software development tools.
  • Knowledge of ontology, knowledge graphs, or enterprise data platforms.
  • Experience working with enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, supply chain, HR, manufacturing, or e-commerce platforms.
  • Additional language skills are a plus.
