  • Perform reliability testing and assess system interactions.
  • Make independent engineering decisions and provide technical solutions.
  • Assist in developing manufacturing processes and troubleshooting issues to determine root causes and engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute TMV (Test Method Validation), Test Method Development, DOE (Design of Experiments), and data analysis activities.
  • Utilize Python coding skills for data analysis and engineering evaluations.
  • Analyze digital sensor outputs and interpret performance data.
  • Develop and maintain test beds for system-level testing.
  • Troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical system issues.
  • Create comprehensive testing plans and execute hands-on testing protocols.
  • Author detailed technical reports and documentation.
  • Manage defect lifecycle activities, including defect collection, documentation, tracking, and summarization for development partners.
  • Analyze test results, evaluate performance, and recommend process improvements.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Follow company procedures, engineering standards, and quality practices.
  • Participate in defining new components, products, and processes while identifying technical challenges.
  • Develop innovative solutions and potentially patentable components or processes.
  • Plan and execute engineering projects with minimal supervision.
  • Design and participate in experiments using advanced engineering techniques.
  • Apply DOE methodologies where appropriate.
  • Participate in technical team activities and share engineering knowledge.
  • Prepare and present project results to technical teams and stakeholders.
  • Monitor work quality and promote a Quality First Time approach.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Required Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Chemical, Biomedical, Software, or related engineering discipline preferred).
  • 8+ years of engineering experience in systems engineering, product development, or related technical roles.
  • Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical devices and system-level testing.
  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
  • Experience developing and executing test plans and validation strategies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in FDA or FAA regulated environments.
  • Medical device industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with sensor systems, digital outputs, and data analysis.
  • Proficiency with Python or similar programming languages for engineering analysis.
  • Experience with Design of Experiments (DOE) methodologies.
Position Overview

This Senior Systems Engineer role requires greater autonomy and technical ownership compared to a standard Systems Engineer position. The successful candidate will independently drive engineering activities, troubleshoot complex problems, execute testing strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support successful product development.
