Production Technician

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Redmond, WA that is seeking a Production Technician to join their team in the assembly, integration, and testing of satellite components.

Responsibilities:
* Support small electrical sub-assemblies and perform mechanical/electrical assembly of satellite components, sub-assemblies, and final vehicle integrations
* Support PCB assemblies into product chassis
* Support battery cell modules, solar modules, and solar arrays
* Support conformal coating, masking, epoxy application, and related processes
* Conduct testing of built hardware, including setup, instrumentation, execution, and teardown
* Support the development of prototype test capabilities and life tests
* Assist in identifying, and implementing test equipment, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems.
* Perform test setups across various regimes, including thermal, shock, thermal vacuum, and vibration

REQUIREMENTS:
* High School diploma/GED or equivalent
* Associate degree
* 2+ years of hands-on experience working in an electro-mechanical manufacturing company, a precision manufacturing company, or high-volume manufacturing company
* 1+ years of hands on work experience
* Ability to read, interpret, and work from layout drawings, mechanical drawings, assembly procedures, schematics, engineering drawings, and parts lists
* Able to proficiently use a PC, Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft Office suite
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Experience with electrical wiring
* Experience setting up and running tests and experiments
* Willing to work all shifts, overtime and weekends as needed; Estimated shift times: 1st shift: 5 AM - 3:30 PM; 2nd shift: 3:30 PM - 2 AM

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
