Project Manager (EMR/EHR)

Overview

• The client is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex EHR/EMR implementation and healthcare IT initiatives.
• The ideal candidate will have strong project management experience, hands-on healthcare technology implementation experience, and an active PMP certification held for at least 5 years.

Responsibilities:

• Manage complex IT projects from initiation through implementation and delivery.
• Lead project planning, execution, timelines, deliverables, risks, issues, and stakeholder management.
• Manage and coordinate EHR/EMR implementations, upgrades, integrations, migrations, and related healthcare technology initiatives.
• Coordinate technical and business teams throughout project delivery.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and issues.
• Communicate effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, and executive leadership.
• Support enterprise healthcare technology implementations in structured environments.

Required Qualifications:

• 7 9 years of IT Project Management experience.
• Strong experience managing complex IT projects through implementation and delivery.
• Strong, hands-on EHR/EMR implementation experience.
• Healthcare IT project management experience.
• Strong understanding of healthcare IT environments and healthcare technology initiatives.
• Active PMP certification held for at least 5 years.
• PMP certificate copy required for submission.
• PA resident who can reliably work 2 days onsite per week in Harrisburg, PA.
• Strong stakeholder and executive communication skills.
• Experience with project planning, risk, issue, schedule, budget, and resource management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience managing enterprise healthcare technology implementations.
• Experience working in government or large enterprise environments.
• Experience coordinating technical and business teams.
