USD $80.00/Hr - USD $85.00/Hr./W2

Must have:
  • 5+ years’ experience in biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry and in commercial, patient support or patient advocacy role.
  • 3 years - Global Patient Advocacy (Americas and Europe ideally)
  • 2 years of funding request processing (financial oversite)
  • Outstanding communication skills

    Our team is seeking experienced candidates for a collaborative Global Patient Advocacy consultant to support our client partners’ pediatric and adult rare diseas­e franchises. Reporting to the Senior Director, Global Patient Advocacy, this person will support operational capabilities of the global patient advocacy team in the implementation of strategies, materials, activities and programs that champion the goals of our partner and the patient community across the corporate rare disease product portfolio.
  • Manage patient advocacy funding requests and programing and assist with corporate reporting.
  • Support activities related to programs and material development and manage internal medical-legal material review process
  • Coordinate conference planning to support PAG meeting and event activities
  • Participate in development of materials, programs and advocacy activities
  • Engage and partner with cross functional partners and PAGs to understand and respond to patients’ needs.
  • Manage contracting process to support department activities
  • Stay apprised of regional compliance regulations and policies to ensure proper, appropriate engagement with PAGs.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry and in commercial, patient support or patient advocacy role.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong operational and program management skills
  • Outstanding and persuasive interpersonal and communication skills
  • Flexible, adaptable, diplomatic, and able to effectively deal with ambiguity.
  • Proactive, pays attention to detail with ability to anticipate and resolve problems effectively.
  • Prioritizes activities, decisive, superior time manager and forward thinking.
  • Familiarity with industry compliance and regulations.
  • Highest standard of ethics.

The estimated pay range for this position is USD $80.00/Hr - USD $85.00/Hr.
