Required Skills:

• Demonstrated experience with cloud and cloud security solutions supporting federal government systems.
• Networking expertise with strong knowledge of AWS-native firewall services, AWS Direct Connect, AWS Outposts network configurations, reverse proxy configurations, and related automation, supporting assessment of FedRAMP-specific security controls.
• Proven ability to design and implement Continuous Monitoring (ConMon) solutions for cloud-based systems and applications.
• Experience designing AI-enabled compliance automation tools capable of scanning cloud accounts and VPCs, collecting FedRAMP-specific responses, storing data in a centralized repository to support ConMon, and analyzing results to identify unmet or noncompliant requirements.
• Strong experience accessing, reviewing, and interpreting security event data and alerts generated by SIEM platforms, such as Splunk.
• Proficiency in reviewing and analyzing reports from AWS GuardDuty, AWS Security Hub, and Amazon Inspector, including interpretation of compliance and non-compliance metrics.
• In-depth understanding of end-to-end data encryption, including encryption in transit and at rest, with practical knowledge of SSL/TLS implementations.
• Demonstrated ability to identify potential security vulnerabilities, particularly those related to data integrity, configuration weaknesses, or system tampering.
