Working on a core technology you will have the opportunity to have a major impact on the design and implementation of Apple's products. We are looking for a Software Device Driver Engineer with an extensive background in Operating Systems, drivers, IO performance/characterization, strong programming skills and experience leading design and development efforts.\n\nIn this role, you develop system level USB architecture solutions, adding functionality and improving performance across many product lines.

Strong C/C++ programming skills and experience with multi-threaded programming\nOutstanding written and verbal communication\nProficient in Operating Systems and kernel architecture\nBachelor's degree in CS/CE/EE (or equivalent, or related field)

5+ years of relevant experience\nFamiliarity with iOS/macOS toolchain\nExperience with IOKit and iOS/macOS driver development\nExperience with common hardware architectures (ARM, PPC, MIPS, x86)\nAbility to use an oscilloscope and logic analyzer and to read board schematics\nA fundamental knowledge of low-level and system level USB architecture and implementations
