Engineering Manager Guidewire PolicyCenter (BillingCenter Plus)

We are seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager with strong Guidewire PolicyCenter implementation experience to lead development initiatives and manage a high-performing engineering team. The ideal candidate must have deep technical expertise, strong insurance domain knowledge (P&C), and proven leadership experience. Guidewire BillingCenter experience is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Guidewire developers (onshore/offshore model).

• Drive end-to-end implementation of Guidewire PolicyCenter solutions.

• Provide hands-on technical guidance in configuration, integration, and customization.

• Conduct code reviews, design reviews, and enforce best practices.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and architects.

• Manage sprint planning, estimations, and Agile delivery execution.

• Oversee integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.

• Support production releases and resolve critical issues.

Mandatory Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Guidewire development.

• Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter.

• Experience with Gosu, PCF, Guidewire Studio, Data Model.

• Proven experience managing engineering teams.

• Strong knowledge of P&C Insurance domain.

• Experience with integrations (REST/SOAP), Java, and SQL.

• Agile/Scrum delivery experience.

Preferred Skills (Big Plus)

• Experience with Guidewire BillingCenter.

• Guidewire Cloud experience.

• Guidewire Certification.

• Experience working with US clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to balance technical hands-on work with leadership responsibilities.
