Technical Lead Full Stack Engineering (AWS)
Charlotte, NC (Remote with quarterly in person planning sessions)
Duration: 24+ Months
W2 Contract role

Role Summary
Seeking a hands-on and experienced Technical Lead with 5+ years of experience in implementation of large enterprise software solutions and applications. This individual will work with a team of IT architects to develop detailed software design and translate into coding specifications. They are responsible for the oversight and assistance in execution of those designs through build, test and defect resolution.

Job Requirements


  • Proficient with all AWS products (Lambda, ECS, ECR, S3, RDS, API Gateway, Route53, etc.).
  • Experience using Secrets Manager and interacting with AWS via SSO.
  • Proficient at using Terraform to codify and manage AWS services.
  • Experience writing Terraform scripts (HCL, JSON).
  • Experience with setting up Terraform workspaces, variables, and HashiCorp Vault.
  • Knowledgeable at setting up Concourse/Actions pipelines.
  • Experience with the fly CLI.
  • Skilled at using YAML and its syntax.
  • Familiar with writing commands and instructions within a Dockerfile.
  • Familiar with the GO language and its syntax.
  • Expert at setting up DocuemntDB and/or Postgres databases.
  • Expert at setting up schemas and roles.
  • Familiar with writing migrations scripts (bonus for TypeORM experience).
  • Expert at writing views and stored procedures in SQL.
  • Expert with the Angular framework and npm.
  • Expert with Typescript and its syntax.
  • Experience using rxjs, bootstrap, and angular material.
  • Expert at creating Angular components and integrating with routing and services.
  • Experience handling Azure JWTs or other OAuth tokens and the MSAL node package.
  • Expert with .NET and Node.js (Nest.js and/or Express framework).
  • Experience setting up controllers, entities, and services.
  • Experience dealing with complex permissions and securing endpoints.

Nice to Have


  • Experience with Agile and JIRA
  • Experience with Learning Management systems
