Job Description
We are seeking a Data integration consultant to support newly developed and evolving integration processes. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data validation, documentation of workflows, and cross-functional communication and a proven ability to analyze data flows, identify anomalies, and propose improvements to integration processes.
Responsibilities:
- Create, maintain, and continuously update documentation for new and evolving integration processes.
- Validate integration data within a new integrated environment to confirm correct flow of existing data and verifiable handling of new data.
- Perform detailed data analysis to isolate and validate specific data sets based on direction.
- Report findings, identify anomalies, and propose practical improvements to integration processes and data flows.
- Produce clear documentation, including process flows, business and technical rules, assumptions and dependencies, data validation approaches, and timing of integration activities.
- Define user roles, responsibilities, and expectations within each process to support communication and adoption.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Ability to create and use basic to intermediate T-SQL queries for validation and analysis.
- Exposure to relational database schemas and data-driven systems.
- Ability to analyze database-level data for integrity checks and root-cause investigations.
- Ability to create, review, and debug basic C# and/or Python used in automation for data movement, validation, or reporting.
- Clear written documentation skills and communication to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand complex systems and data flows.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with enterprise data integrations or analytics environments.
- Basic working knowledge of AI tools such as Copilot, Claude, and ChatGPT.
- Experience developing lightweight Power BI reports or dashboards.
- Comfort working in evolving environments with partially defined processes.
