Summary
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced LabWare LIMS Developer with strong techno-functional expertise to support and enhance LIMS solutions within a GxP-regulated pharmaceutical environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on LabWare LIMS development experience, strong understanding of laboratory workflows, and the ability to ensure compliance with regulatory and data integrity standards.
This role involves close collaboration with business users, quality teams, and infrastructure teams to deliver compliant, efficient, and scalable LIMS solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with LabWare LIMS development
- Strong expertise in:
- LabWare LIMS basic programming
- Visual workflows and Crystal Reports
- Oracle / SQL queries and database design
- Solid understanding of pharmaceutical laboratory workflows
- In-depth knowledge of GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and Data Integrity principles
- Experience with REST/SOAP web services and integrations
- Hands-on experience supporting COTS, On-Prem, and SaaS applications in regulated environments
- Familiarity with ServiceNow is highly desirable
- Knowledge of LabVantage LIMS is a plus
Key Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing production support for existing LIMS applications and troubleshoot day-to-day issues
- Configure, customize, and maintain LIMS functionalities to meet evolving business requirements
- Ensure compliance with GxP documentation and validation standards (IQ, OQ, PQ)
- Support audits and maintain continuous audit readiness
- Deliver technical expertise for system enhancements, upgrades, and new feature implementations
- Design, optimize, and maintain database structures, queries, and subroutines
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to support Disaster Recovery (DR) testing and operational activities
- Act as a bridge between business users and technical teams to ensure effective solution delivery
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working in pharmaceutical or life sciences organizations
- Strong communication and documentation skills
